I’m about 2 weeks into a Gamma World D20 game. I have to say, the core books leave a lot to be desired as a functional system in their own right. Loot tables, encounter tables, etc, are missing. That being said, the Game Master’s guide is incredibly useful to ANYONE running ANY type of game. Contains real solid advice that is applicable to any game, that I can’t remember ever reading anywhere before. Also, the community system is the best I have ever read. Treating communities like characters, and the ability to randomly create very convincing communities very quickly is phenominal.
